Who we are
The Hollywood Hub is a collaborative project between LA Council District 13 (Office of Hugo Soto-Martínez), the Compassion Connection program at the Hollywood Adventist Church, and Homeless Health Care Los Angeles.
Building on the legacy of Compassion Connection and Homeless Health Care's work with individuals experiencing housing challenges, the Hub expands on available resources and support. Our team provides a range of services designed to meet both the physical and systemic challenges of our guests, while assisting those seeking to transition out of homelessness.
We are open Monday - Friday 8am - 3pm including most major holidays.
Showers
At the Hollywood Hub, our vision is a community where everyone has access to the resources and support they need to thrive. We work toward this goal by offering vital services, such as showers, that restore dignity and promote healing. Each of our services is intentionally designed to uphold human dignity and foster well-being.
Compassion Boutique
Our team is made up of dedicated professionals who are passionate about our mission. With diverse backgrounds and a wide range of skills, we work together to make a meaningful difference in our community.
In the Compassion Boutique, you’ll find a wide variety of new and gently used clothing, bedding, and household items. Every item is cleaned and sanitized before being stocked, ensuring that it’s ready for immediate use.
Stained Glass Dinner
Our program is intentionally designed to fill critical gaps in Hollywood’s service continuum, offering a pathway of hope that empowers clients to make meaningful changes in their lives and circumstances. As part of this mission, our meal team ensures that guests have access to a warm, nutritious lunch, served Monday through Friday each week.
Laundry
Simple things like freshly washed laundry can have a profound impact on the lives of Hub guests. Clean clothing not only supports better health outcomes but also influences how guests are perceived and treated in the community as they go about their day. Our laundry team is dedicated to ensuring that every guest has access to this vital service, helping promote dignity, well-being, and a healthier life.
Case Management & Housing Navigation
The Hub program is designed to build on the trust developed through guests’ ongoing relationships with our personal care teams. By leveraging this foundation, our case management team is able to connect to guests with co-located services, creating a clear pathway for those seeking to improve their circumstances and transition toward housing security.
